vuforia optical see through display calibration

Hello all,

I have a project north star AR headset I 3D printed with a leap motion and webcam I attached. I have a object in unity that I want to overlap well wearing the headset. The problem is webcam is not calibrated with this headset and the object will not appear in the correct location well wearing the headset.

I have been looking for solutions and the only one that has seemed promising is the existing Toolkits and Resources for SPAAM Calculations, including Ubitrack, Yuta Itoh’s Matlab Toolkit, and Kenneth Moser’s C++ and Java Implementations.

However I am not able to find any clear instructions on how to do this and some of the resources seem dated.

I was hoping that someone here may have a suggestion of a way to do this calibration, it does not striclty have to be using vuforia, however this woould be easiest to implement.

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

If you are using the external camera feature from Vuforia, you also have the possibility to calibrate it.
