When will Vuforia be able to do this!!

This is very very impressive. I truly hope you guys can add this kind of functionality to vuforia.

It is not PTAM what they use. It is written from the ground up.

Hi elecman,

I was wondering myself if 13th Lab perhaps picked up a copy of PTAM from Isis Innovation/Oxford University and refactored it into something commercially viable.. Are you sure that this is the case? It's possible that they developed their own SLAM implementation or used another library (like SceneLib or RobotVision) as a starting point isn't it?..

You mentioned that Unity version is in works. Can you tell me more about that?

Yeah it would be nice of you. This is the next step of AR. We could create content and not be bothered with markers.

No, those features aren't integrated to the current SDK.

That looks like an example of Parallel Tracking And Mapping ( PTAM ).

If people are interested in such features, I can pass along a request to the Vuforia team.
