Seems to me a trivial feature which will open endlessly opportunities for developers out there. Being trying to hack it myself in the last 24hrs non-stop with no success whatsoever.

I would very much like this feature <KeepPoseForNumberOfFrames> available on metaio to function in my vuforia/unity world.

My wish is to point my device at a target image and be able to define how long you can move your camera view outside of the image target and still view the AR around you.

Having seen msot of recent post on wish list it seems many people want the x86/x86-64 library support, and that for different reasons or with different names :)

Adding my vote for support for alpha channel videos and publishing PC/Mac Standalones with Vuforia.

Another request for enabling Mac/PC (or even just PC) standalone applications to be built using the SDK.

As a developer I work with clients who have AR needs for kiosk installations, and it would be great to be able to unify all our AR projects to using a single companies sdk (via Unity3D).

Though we may be a slightly special case in that as kiosk applications we also have complete control over the hardware used, so any issues regarding hardware compatability, which could be an issue when looking at standalone applications fo rthe general public, do not really apply to us.

I can't help but feel Vuforia is missing out on a good chunk of developers due to the lack of Mac/PC standalone application support. Despite the fact that it apears to already be supported, judging that you can use vuforia in the Unity editor.

If you create frame markers or image targets at runtime using code, Vuforia automatically adds mesh renderers in Unity. I do not want that because I use my own system to render the markers in the Editor. Please provide a feature to switch that feature off.

Wish the UDT can be persisting during scenes in Unity Extentsion. It is no use to have UDT if it needs to ask a gamer to scan each time the stage start.

the new UserDefinedTargets feature is great but it needs a bit more work to be truely useful.
what it needs is for the user to specify the ROI of the camera image to turn into a trackable.

Similar Trackable in the Cloud

We plan to use a large cloud database and it is possible that different users will upload similar trackable. For example (Loading a famous logo like Coca Cola). Currently the Tracker class returns a single result.

Is it possible to get all matching results from the cloud search? We can use the metadata to decide which is the one we need.

We build a Content Management system that upload images to the cloud, is there an API that will enable us to check if the image we upload has already a matching target in the cloud database?

When an image includes few different trackable in the same image, the cloud results return only one single results.

Cloud reco database can have milion targets. There is API to manage cloud from our target manager. We'll give this ability to variety of clients using our app. It is very likely that 2 clients will use same or very similar target at some point. This will be a huge disaster if for print of one of our client app will show content of another.

Curently I can upload same or similar targets to cloud without being notified about it. 

I think this is a must have feature that when adding new target to cloud over API and Web interface as well will give clear alert about similar target already active in database. So we can prevent to have ambigousity and end up in big troubles.

I think you should be able to build a PC/Mac standalone through the Unity plugin. We already have preview mode in the editor, so surely the hardest parts of this feature are done?

In the lastest SDK 2.0 the number of device targets is limmited to 100 :-(

Please increase this number to 200 so we don't have to make different datasets.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 with on-board video resolution 1280x720.

I have tried all options with selectVideoMode(..),

MODE_DEFAULT = -1,           ///< Default camera mode
MODE_OPTIMIZE_SPEED = -2,    ///< Fast camera mode
MODE_OPTIMIZE_QUALITY = -3   ///< High-quality camera mode

but cameraDevice.getVideoMode function gives always resolution 640x480...

Please add an extra option like MODE_OPTIMIZE_FULL to enable full resolution for the selected device.

I would like to be able to submit a custom loaded or captured QCAR::Image object to QCAR, instead of having to rely on camera input. That way we could chain multiple video processing toolkits together. In my case, I'm using opencv together with vuforia.

Possibility to select targets on different pages.

At this moment if I select a image in the Device Target Manager and switch over to another page, the previous selection is lost. Therefore it's not possible to make a database set over different target images pages.

It would be very nice if that possible, especially if you have to make different smaller sets from one big set

UDT sample seems to be very promising as it gives power to make marker at runtime,please add feature so that i can use my image which is stored in gallery or sdcard in UDT sample as marker instead of capturing at runtime.it will be great and very efficient.i know it is not matter of implementing new things but just matter of giving little freedom to developer to use it's image ......Vuforia is always best and after this feature it will be great..

the cloud recognision server returns time sync error in case timezone is not set properly on the phone.

As we are facing issues with devices which by factory settings have checked automatic time settings provided by network it would be great if wrong timezone was not an issue when comunicating to cloud recognition server.

These users now have to be instructed to turn the automatic settings off and set their timezone properly.

We faced this issue on Sony Erricson ST25i model which had timezone by auto setting set to probably default GMT+0 when the correct zone was GMT+1. After manual chnaging cloud reco worked well.

Hi, would be great to have API also to predefined target databases same as to cloud one. Cloud is great but there is need to have also offline target databases downloadded with same data packed over wifi to devices and ready to be used offline outside on devices without 3G or free wifi hot spots. Manual datasets modifications on vuforia portal is not nice manual overhread in managing like regular weekly updates of AR.

Ability to compile to stand-alone desktop apps. This is currently implemented in the editor.

Ability to retain tracking even if the marker is lost. Currently I can simply reposition the target image to the last position since the tracking was lost, but something a bit more sophisticated would be welcome.

I would like the ability to save a UDT (user defined target) for future use.

1. Capture UDT

2. Save / add to dat / xml files

I believe it is confusing for users to have to keep on capturing the same target everytime they start the app.

Since very early beta this has been a feature request, we want to be able to create targets in some porgramatic way (the Vuforia Cloud Service Achieves this) but we also want control over the trackable data being able to download and cache it programmatically in order to achieve good user experiences.

It would be a very simple addition to the API to allow for this although I apprecitae it allows for a by-pass of charging for it and I can only imagine this is the only reason the feature to create your own trackables has never been performed.
