Wish List

Hi all, Please use this thread as a place to consolidate feature requests for the QCAR SDK. If there is something missing that is holding back your development efforts, we'd like to know about it! If you're having trouble with an existing feature and would like more sample code to help you get started, we'd like to know about that too. Looking forward to your input, thanks! - Kim

+1! I'd love to be able to use the simulator to debug.

Support for SimpleIdMarkers_thin markers. See StudierStube: http://handheldar.icg.tugraz.at/images/stbtracker_benchmark.png These markers are visible at a far greater distance then the FrameMarkers which are currently used.

How to use this marker in Vofuria. I wanna use markers like this becuase I must use a lots of markers more than  512 markers. Thx you

I would like the ability to save a UDT (user defined target) for future use.

1. Capture UDT

2. Save / add to dat / xml files

I believe it is confusing for users to have to keep on capturing the same target everytime they start the app.

User defined targets present us with many new and compelling things we can do with computer vision.  I don't want to give away all my best ideas (plenty of creativity here, I'm sure others have good ideas of their own)...

Unity:

Ability to compile to stand-alone desktop apps. This is currently implemented in the editor.

can any1 give the tutorial on videoplayback....does this wont work in unity 3..4.0

Have you tried the Video Playback sample? - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/sample-apps/video-playback-sample-app

Also please post any follow-ups to the Unity forum, the Wish List is for feature requests.

Possibility to select targets on different pages.

At this moment if I select a image in the Device Target Manager and switch over to another page, the previous selection is lost. Therefore it's not possible to make a database set over different target images pages.

I would like to be able to submit a custom loaded or captured QCAR::Image object to QCAR, instead of having to rely on camera input. That way we could chain multiple video processing toolkits together. In my case, I'm using opencv together with vuforia.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 with on-board video resolution 1280x720.

I have tried all options with selectVideoMode(..),
