ARCamera on Android always at 0,0,0 with Ground Plane

March 29, 2018 - 4:29am #1

Kind of a duplicate topic to a previous post of mine but I've pinpointed the exact problem:

My ArCamera with Ground Plane moves around just fine when using the editor (and ground plane emulator marker), but as soon as I put it on device (Galaxy Edge S7) the ArCamera is always at 0,0,0. The rotations seem to work okay, but position in unchanged.

What's going on? I need some pretty urgent help or advice.

I have tried all the World Center modes but nothing seems to make any difference.

Thanks

I'm kinda having the same issue, where the Ground Planes objects appear to be stuck with the camera, it doesnt track very well, at times when it did, it will eventually drift away.

Currently trying to deploy AR app on iOS and Android.. with iOS i have no issues for iphone6+ and above, iPad 2017 and iPad Pros, however on Vuforia list of supported devices, it says it will support even iPad Air.. but it wasn't the case... so im currently cracking my head to fix issues on the non ARKit using groundplane, still no luck.

I even downloaded Unity3D Beta just to get access for the latest Vuforia 7.1.31, same thing........ sigh
