Hello! Is it possible to have multiple objects act like buttons within a ground plane?

This depends on what you mean by 'objects'? If you want to tap the objects on your screen you could grab the touch position and shoot a ray from the camera onto the object. Here's some relevant info from Unity: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/CameraRays.html
