Change Plane Indicator GameObject on Runtime

My project requires that I have to be able to change and modify the PlaneFinderBehavior's PlaneIndicator object after I scan an Image Target for its designated PlaneIndicator object. However, when testing with having the PlaneIndicator initially set to null and initially set to a test object on different tests, I was not able to change out the object nor modify the object's rotation (the scale, however, I was able to modify during runtime, intrestingly enough).

What methods or classes reference the PlaneIndicator object when looking for a Ground Plane? Would I need to create a custom extended PlaneFinderBehavior class just to bypass this problem?
