Does Vuforia Ground Plane fully utilize ARKit and ArCore?

I tested Vuforia Ground Plane on my iPad 2017, and it's very unstable compared to ARkit. Vuforia claims that they use ARKit and ARCore on devices that support ARKit and ARCore. If that's the case, why Vuforia Ground Plane is unstable while ARKit is stable on the same device? In Unity, its Camera is very jittery when tracking images. I wonder if that translates to Ground Plane Detection as well. Thanks.

Hello dyuldashev,

Which version of Unity + Vuforia are you using where you are seeing this behaviour? Do you only see this unstable performance on that device, or all iOS devices with ARKit?

Are you able to share videos comparing the performance between GP and ARKit?
