Emulator Ground Plane Collider

The collider on the Emulator Ground Plane interferes with rigid body physics. Disabling the collider at runtime interferes with using the ground plane target in editor mode. Any suggestions on how to work around this? Will there be any colliders on device that Vuforia generates we'll need to deal with? Is there a way to have all the objects for ground plane created by Vuforia during scene editing to minimize runtime surprises?
