Hey guys!
I have a problem with ground plane.
I use ARCore 1.12.0 for stability of the ground plane.
I have about 40 objects with a collider and rigidbody. Everything works well at the very beginning, but over time, tracking becomes worse and objects begin to tremble slightly. After playing for 5-10 minutes (quite a lot of movement of the camera relative to the tracked place at this time), or turning on the game when the phone warmed up a bit, I have a performance loss. Unity Profiler shows that problems in processing physics and post-rendering.
It seems to me that trembling causes invisible to the eye small and frequent collisions of rigidbodies which in turn causes physics processing from the engine.
Tested on Samsung s8 / s9 and Google Pixel.
On the Samsung s8 and Google Pixel, trembling starts pretty quickly while the Samsung s9 performs much better.
Any suggestions or guesses?
As you say, the Unity
As you say, the Unity Profiler points to physics as the main contributor for your performance issues. I think asking on the Unity Forums will benefit you more, as this doesn't seem to relate to Vuforia Engine.
