Iphone 8+/ Plane is detected, object won't appear

This tutorial is nice explained and first part works https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/ground-plane-guide.html.

But when I tried to use script "DeployStageOnce" from the page but it does't work and I don't know why.. May someone knows what's the problem can be?

On my mobile device the surface is detected well, then I tap on the screen and nothing appears.

I had a similar problem, hopefully my fix will help:

When it says

"2. In the "Plane Finder" GameObject, replace the ContentPositioningBehaviour component with the following script:"

you probably removed the ContentPositioningBehaviour script and added the new one?

What they don't tell you is that on that same PlaneFinder object is a PlaneFinderBehaviour script that has an Advanced section with an event trigger for Hit detection that is now broken (because you removed that reference when you removed the script!)

Drag the PlaneFinder object into the object box and set the function to DeployStageOnce > OnInteractiveHitTest and that should fix it for you.

Alternatively download the Ground Plane Demo from the Asset Store which is a full project and has similar functionality with a spaceman and drone:
