Iphone ground plane no surface tracking

I seem to be having trouble with IOS ground plane not tracking surfaces properly.

On Android the tracking indicator (the square reticle) is on the detected surface and scales/moves away from me based on the detected surface.

But on IOS the tracking indicator  seems to start in the camera and when I look up the object moves away and scales away relative from the camera. Like the app thinks the tracking surface is in the camera.

Iphone used: Iphone 6s running public stable IOS 11.3

Unity version: 2017.3.1f1

Vuforia version: 7.0.47

I'm building the iphone xcode app through Xcode 9.2 but with the 11.3 build support package from Xcode 9.3


I've went through the forums and I couldn't find people with the same problem. If someone could point me to the right direction or have a solution that would be great.

My bad. Turns out it was tracking however the objects on the indicator was massive so it appeared like it was in my camera. Using the guide line I was about 

But it's strange that the android version ignores all scaling and works normally. But building it for IOS makes it use the scaling. I have a distance calculator and IOS thinks 2 units is miles away and android thinks 2 units is an arm reach away.
