Is Moto 5's lack of a compass a problem?

Hi,

On the ground plane page, the Moto 4 is listed.

I tried this with a ground plane on Moto 5, but the PositionalDeviceTracker fails to initialize. I was told this would happen on unsupported devices.

Is there some other reason it can fail, or is it a problem with the hardware not being supported?
