I´m trying to use the ground plane feature on a Windows Tablet. The tablet is not officially supported by Vuforia (Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen 2) but I wanted to try it anyway.
When I start the app I get the error "SmartTerrain failed to initialize". The same build runs fine on a Surface Pro 3.
I just created a basic scene using this guide: https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/ground-plane-guide.html
Does that indicate that there is no way to use the feature on this device or is there anything else I could try?
On a side note: The Mixed Reality Viewer, that is build into Windows, has a similar feature and works fine on this tablet. Does anyone know if Micrsoft using Vuforia for their app?
