Hologram not loading after image target detection

SDK 10.0
November 10, 2021 - 4:14pm #1

I made a new Unity 2020.3 (LTS) project with Vuforia sample for Hololens 1 and 2. On building and running the project as is on Hololens-2 (ARM64), launch Image Targets scene from the Menu and looked at the Astronaut marker. The info panel shows that the target is being 'tracked' 'normal' or extended tracked', but I do not see the Astronaut Augmentation. This is the same case for other image targets and the Vuforia Mars Object target. The augmentations do not show up. The scenes work as expected on the Unity Editor.

Can you please help?

Thanks

Here is a ETW Trace File when I run the v10 sample app. I notice this error - "AR:ERROR: Vuforia does not support RenderingPrimitives for optical see-thru eyewear" which i do not see it when I run the v9.8 app.

Yes. I confirm that no changes were made from the sample project and instructions were followed as exact from this page

The Hololens OS is 20348.1438. Edition - Windows Holographic for Business. This is the latest version as per the updates on Hololens. It is not 2300 like you had mentioned in your post.

The Unity version is 2020.3.20f1.

I tested a new simple image target project with Vuforia v9.8, MRTK 2.7.2 with WMR and Unity 2020.3. It worked fine on this Hololens device.

I also tried a similar fresh project with Vuforia v10 and still the same issue as your sample project. Augmentations don't appear.

Please let me know how this can be resolved at the earliest.

Thanks.

Can you confirm that you did not change anything in the sample project? Can you also confirm that your Hololens 2 is updated to the newest version (20348.2300)?
