Hololens sample not working

I've seen similar postings but no real resolutions.  I'm new to developing with hololens.  I just downloaded the most recent version of everything.  I followed the instructions to get the samples from the asset store.  Both the vuforia core and hololens project samples don't run.  When speaking about the hololens sample specifically, I see the splash and loading scene, but not the final one.  The scene in the Unity editor clearly has four images with associated holograms that I would imagine I should be seeing.  Each time a scene loads I see the following two errors:

ERROR - Could not find specified video device

UnityEngine.WebCamTexture:Play()

 

Exception in callback: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> UnityEngine.MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'Camera' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it.

Your script should either check if it is null or you should not destroy the object.

 

After the hololens scene loads, I'm left with a blank screen.  Any help would be appreciated as I'm excited to start, but would love for any of these samples to work to help me understand what is going on.  Cheers, Michael.

 

Hololens sample not working

I am also having this error when trying to build Vuforia Model Target sample scene to Hololens.

 

If I build the Vuforia HoloLens Sample Scene with just the Image Target Databases, I can get the app to build and run successfully.

 

If I try to build and run the Vuforia HoloLens Sample Scene with the ModelTarget Database activated, I get the error "Failed to get spatial stage statics - can't retrieve or interact with boundaries! Error code: '0x80040154'."

 

If I try to build and run the Vuforia Model Target Sample Scene to the HoloLens, with all the correct settings enabled (player settings, vuforia configuration), I get these errors:

"Requested Focus mode FOCUS_MODE_CONTINUOUSAUTO.  Not supported on this device.



(Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\artifacts/generated/Metro/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51)



Failed to enable continuous autofocus, switching to normal focus mode

Are you trying to use Model Targets? Since I can get Image Targets to work but not Model Targets, I have a feeling that there's some conflict between Vuforia's 7.1.31 Model Targets and Hololens. 

Hololens sample not working

So, up until now I've been trying to use the remote emulator because I haven't seen any indication I couldn't.  However, I deployed the build through visual studio as the instructions describe.  Doing this, I still run through the splash and loading screen and am left with a blank screen for the actual mars demo.  However, I get the following error in visual studio:

I can find similar errors in older versions, but these were samples before the hololens one was released.  If anyone has any ideas?  Cheers, Michael.
