HoloLens Vuforia multi-target detection displays second hologram meters away

Dear Vuforia Forum,

As a student I am experimenting with Vuforia for fun and I am able to successfully recognize a square product package. (The debug menu shows it)

the moment the package is detected I want to show a cube or canvas around it so I know it's detected without checking the debug menu. This seems to work but with one major flaw.

The cube as displayed in the picture above is not displayed at the square product package but more like 3/4m to the right.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens? I even tried a different location to check if the spatial mapping went wrong.

For see-through eyewear experiences, it is critical that the size of the target (specified when created in the Target Manager) matches exactly to the physical object your trying to detect/track in order to have a properly registered augmentation.
