Hello everyone,
First, thanks in advance for reading and helping me out reaching my goal with Hololens. I am not an expert guy so my question may look a stupid one for some(but I am doing my best to get involve with this crazy stuff). I went through different articles and thoughts and I saw the willingness of Hololens to place objects in a 3D space based on the spatial mapping data.
What I want to do now is reading a marker, augment the object (the location of the marker would be a reference though the spatial mapping data), and lock the object based on the scanned surround through spatial data available.
Basically, the objects that I need to augment are really huge "scale" objects. So keep looking at the marker won't be a solution in this case as I keep loosing many important parts from the model. Therefore, is there any way to make Vuforia read the marker and make HoloLens do the rest of the work in terms of understanding the surround and lock the object based on that?
Again, I am sorry if this is already explained somewhere here but I was not able to find anything related to my issue.
Thank you
