Hey,
I'm trying to implement a really simple demo with Object Target on HoloLens. I follow the basic steps to get started - scan the object, import, drop Object Target and lay out some 3D primitives.
Then (without Extended Tracking), all holograms are shaky: https://www.dropbox.com/s/40oup2bey9qa088/space_shuttle_vuforia_object.mp4?dl=0
I got suggestion to enable Extended Tracking: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uoysk2ws50isryj/space_shuttle_vuforia_object_ext_tracking.mp4?dl=0
In the latter case, holograms are far less shaky but they lose position pretty quickly.
Thus neither aproaches work and those are really simple cases. Anyone has a clue what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks.
Hello rafek,
Hello rafek,
The issue you're seeing in the second video might be a result of the model you're using. A mostly white model with only a few distinct features isn't an optimal tracking target. Do you have another target you could test with so we can narrow down the issue?
