I'm currently designing an application for the Hololens, with Unity, to track a moving object with a marker. On webcams/mobile, the tracking of this target(both image marker and VuMark) is mostly stable and quick to respond. However, when using the Hololens, there is a noticeable lag of a third of a second or more before the object realigns properly. Furthermore, the tracking and displayed object looks rather jittery. Is this due to the hardware of the Hololens itself, Unity, Vuforia's own algorithms, a mix of these, or something else entirely? Alternatively, are there any suggestions on how to improve the speed and accuracy of the tracking?
