Stop image tracking for one image

May 8, 2017 - 4:54am #1

Hello,

So I have 3 imageTargets, these are close to what I want the to represent in the real world however I always need to move them a little bit. So I added the handdragabble script to them, however when the image is still being scanned by the hololens and vuforia recognizes it as an imagetarget the holograms freaks out a little and sometimes disappear. I know that you can disable tracking, which I guess would give me the change to move my hologram to it's new position, however after that I need to head over to the next target and move that hologram. I'd rather not have to say a voice command of sorts to enable and disable tracking for every imagetarget.

I'm sorry if my explanation is unclear, but if someone has an answer to how I can solve this I'd appreciate it!

/Alex

Hello,

Does this use case sound similar to yours?

"I start the Application, Vuforia detects the tag and places the holograms, I disable the tracking, I set a WorldAnchor on the object, I move the tag to a new location, remove the WorldAnchor from the object, re-enable tracking => Expectation: Vuforia detects the tag and moves the objects to the new location"

Thanks.
