Stuck with World Center Mode: Camera

I am currently using unity 2017.2.1f1 with vuforia 6.5, I have been running into an issue where the moment I select the eyewear type, and set see through config to HoloLens, the world center mode changes to camera and I am unable to change it back to first target. Is anyone else having this issue? if so is there a way around it?


I am trying to develop an app that uses the image target to create an environment on the top of a table. I want the user to be able to walk around the table and the models/environment stay anchored to the table.

Hello nightshade24,

HoloLens only allows for Camera World Center Mode. We are addressing the UI in a future version that will prevent attempts to change this.

You should still be able to achieve your use case without changing the World Center Mode. Do you feel that Camera WCM is preventing you from this?

How would you achieve this in Camera WCM?

I'm relatively new with unity, hololens, and vuforia. Would you use world anchors? I don't know how.

I tried saving the positions relative to the image target (vector from target to object), and reloading the objects by adding the vectors back together, but it seems that they're always off when I reload them.
