Vuforia Incompatibilities, ImageTarget Offset

We've been developing a HoloLens project for months and have had stable Vuforia performance with Unity 2017.2.0f3 and Windows 10.0.14393.0.

With upgrading Unity and HoloLens to RS4, we encountered tracking accuracy problems. Image targets are detected at the wrong distance and position.

Combinations where tracking works correctly:

  • Vuforia 6.5, Unity 2017.2.0f3, HoloLens with Windows 10.0.14393.0
  • Vuforia 6.5, Unity 2017.2.0f3, HoloLens with Windows 10.0.17134.80
  • Vuforia 7.1.35, Unity 2018.1.0f2, HoloLens with Windows 10.0.14393.0

Combination which has the offset:

  • Vuforia 7.1.35, Unity 2018.1.0f2, HoloLens with Windows 10.0.17134.80

Things we checked:

  • IPD is calibrated correctly
  • Camera (VuforiaBehaviour) is at position 0,0,0

Did anyone have similar problems or do you have any information on how to fix this?

Same problem with Windows 10.0.17134.80, Unity 2018.1.0f2 and Vuforia. Tried both 7.1.35 and 6.5.

No issues on previous Windows version.
