AR Camera shakes at beginning for few seconds

Hi,

The AR Vuforia camera shakes/jitters in beginning when the game is loaded for 5 seconds. I noticed it because the AR objects move out of the place and their positions to few meters away and then they stay there instead of their starting positions. This is because the camera moves away from its original position. Is there a way that the camera stays in the position that is pre -defined in Unity?

Hi,

I would need also the know the feature that you are using to test accordingly in my setup. Did you add in the scene an image Target? and on top of the image you have the 3d model? ( if you are not familiar with the features, in this link there is short description for all of them)

Just a 3D model in the scene

Vuforia SDK : 7.2.23

IOS device : ipad 6th generation

Unity : 2018.2.0b4

 

It is always like this, after 5 seconds the model becomes stable or I guess the camera stops jittering

Hi,

I would need more information on the issue that you are facing before being able to help.

- What features are you using - model targets? -  image targets?

- Please confirm:

  • Vuforia SDK version
  • IOS device
  • IOS version
  • Unity version

- Did it work before?

- Behavior - after 5 seconds of camera shacking/jitter does it work as expected?
