Hello,
I have a custom use of Vuforia that is working fine on iOS bellow version 8. I am using the vuforia library 3.0.9 directly from C++/Objective-C and although I have been introducing the changes recommended in this post on the forum, I cannot get the video to work properly. I can see the first frame but no more frames are being shown. Have there been any changes in the rendering pipeline of Vuforia? Even though the video is not correctly shown, I can get the markers and the projection matrix correctly.
The same code works on iOS 7 just fine.
Thank you very much in advance.
PS: I am attaching a screenshot of what I am getting. As you can see the video is rendereded in the background but just the first frame. I am relying on the video to fill the background so that is why the object leaves the pattern shown in the image but the marker is correctly identified and the model view matrix is correct. Strange. I am pretty sure it might be relate to openGL ES states being "broken" and I can only imagine that some rendering changes have been made to the rendering pipeline inside Vuforia. It would be great if Vuforia would be an open source project so I could look into the video rendering code.

This is getting wierder by the minute. I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.1 and it is working just fine. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.1 and it's not working.
Can't get video working on iOS 8
I uninstalled the app and rebuilt and the problem has solved. Strange indeed. Closing the thread ;).
Can't get video working on iOS 8
Glad it is solved ;-)
Sometimes, a Clean + rebuild in Xcode can help, before launching the App on the device ;-)
