Daisy Chained Image Targets

February 6, 2013 - 1:49pm #1

Hi,

Is it possible to daisy chain multiple image targets so that the user can scroll along from one image target in view to the next target so that the model object can continue to be in view? If yes, how is that put together? I'm asking for projects that involve very large models.

Thanks, I will check those out. Just to clarify what I meant. Let's say the asset that you want to place on an image target is something long. If you place the object centered to the image target you would have to step back further with the iPhone to try to get the whole asset in screen, but there seems to be a limitation of how far back you can step back from a letter sized image t arget print out. So, what if you were able to position the asset on the image target and place another copy of the image target down on the other side so that when you move the iPhone along from on image target to the next the asset would still be in view of the iPhone and you can vew the asset from relaying back and forth from one target to the next.

I hope this makes more sense.

Have you checked out  "UCS "   Unified Coordinate System   this does exactly what you're looking for...   you might want to also check out SLAM based technology.

Not quite sure what you mean here.

Scrolling is something you do on the display, whereas image targets exist in the video feed.

Can you try explaining more clearly?
