I have been using Vuforia as a Unity asset to create a simple AR experience using a single image target for both Android and iOS. For the iOS project, I have profiled and noticed a considerable memory leak which occurs while using the camera. Whenever the device is rotated while the camera is open, allocated memory increases steadily. With further investigation a similar issue was found on the developer forums: https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/ios/memory-leak-vuforia-v559-ios#forum-topic-top. Following this post, I tried disabling extended tracking on the image target and noticed the memory graph flattened out and removed the previously noted memory leak. I am using Unity 5.6.1p1 and Vuforia 6.2.10. Is this a known issue with a workaround which allows the use of extended tracking?
Thanks!
