Focus Infinity - Problems on iPad Pro

Hi everyone,

FOCUS_MODE_INFINITY seems only to work when its running from Xcode without building. I can see in the logs that mode was changed. And it is behaving correctly. However, if I build the app and run it without connected to Xcode for logs, Camera Focus is auto focussing. 

What is the cause of this?

iPad Pro running 9.3.5 (please only suggest updating iOS if you know that it will make a difference)
