September 4, 2012 - 6:53am #1

Hi,
I am using library of Qualcomm, i successfully run my project us qualcomm but only issue is when i use CodeTimestamps to check my project processing speed and getting 2 errors on using LogTimestamp, LogTimestampStartChunk, LogTimestampMidChunk, and LogTimestampEndChunk Macros my project, i follow same procedure as http://eng.pulse.me/line-by-line-speed-analysis-for-ios-apps/ site mentioned. I also successfully use in my test project and got right output. But when i use in my Qualcomm project getting errors.

Getting errors when using CodeTimestamps classes in my Qualcomm

September 5, 2012 - 3:16am #2

Hi Aleem,

Just to be clear this is not a Vuforia issue.

Basically, as the linker error states, it is not able to pick up the symbol __Z25LogTimestampChunkInMethodPKciaa

..which means that it cannot find it so it is missing.

What this means is that either a library or, in this case, some source code is missing.

I tried incorporating this into a Qualcomm sample and was able to get it to work by including the tylerneylon-moriarty-c0d6daf directory within the project.  i.e just drag it from Finder into your project in XCode.
