iPad Pro Issue with Area Targets

I have a Unity app that is using Area Targets, it works great on my iphone 11 pro, but I get the following error when trying to build/install on my iPad Pro (2nd gen)

"AreaTracker needs Platform Sensor Fusion and is not currently supported on Vuforia Sensor Fusion or Vuforia Vision Only"

What could be causing this?

 

iPhone 11 Pro OS version 13.5.1

iPad Pro 2nd Gen OS Version 14.0

Unity 2019.3

 

Hi,

In order for Area Target to work you require a device which is supported by ARkit/ARcore.

Apples Ipad Pro 2nd gen supports ARKit, hence it's curious why you are receiving this error.

Could you please confirm me the following?

1. The devices model number?

The iPad Pro 2nd Gen was working before we upgraded the OS, i wonder if that might be the issue?

We upgraded to ios 14

1. MY232J/A

2. its the same project built on the same machine etc
