Is it Possible to Use Vuforia + Unity to Track and Read Something off of a QR Code

July 30, 2018 - 2:39am #1

hello,

I'm developing a project for my university, and our goal is to read information off of a QR code (and eventually have the model react, but that's not important right now). I was able to set up the demo for Vuforia + Unity pretty easily, and I'd like to use it for the project. I'm just unsure if there's a way to import a QR code like reader to the system so I can extract information off of it.https://textnow.vip/ https://photomath.vip/

Does anyone know if this is possible? I apologize if this is a stupid question, I'm pretty new to AR.https://bluestacks.vip/

Yes you can.  First check out VuMarks and see if it meets your needs.  If you need to use a particular QR Code reader, you'll need to read the camera frames and run it through your reader plugin.   There are QR Code plugins on the asset store.  Here's how you get the camera frame data: https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/Working-with-the-Camera.html
