Launch the AR module inside an App.

Hi all,

I've got a tricky question. I say tricky because it wasn't easy with the android SDK.

Can you provide some documentation about how to launch the AR module from inside an app? For instance, I would like to create a main menu, instructions, etc. and then a "launch AR" button which launch something like ImageTargets.

I ask for the standard iOS SDK but also for the Unity Extension.

Many thanks and great work by the way;)!

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your answer.

It's now working for OpenGL. I just had some difficulties because of the screen orientation.

I'll test with Unity later.

Hi,

For native SDK, nothing QCAR related happens until you call QCAR::init() - you are free to restructure your application to call this later on than the sample apps do, for example after displaying your own UI to show instructions or level selection etc.

In Unity, the solution you arrived at for Android should be applicable to iOS too.
