Letting video play out crashes app

I'm testing using a very basic Unity project, which includes the Chips/Stones trackers.

Whenever I initiate the Handheld.PlayFullScreenMovie in a scene containing an Image Target, when the video finishes the App crashes.  No errors are registered in Xcode.

This same video/script, attached to a scene without AR, correctly closes the video and returns to the scene when finished.

If I close the video prior to finishing, it closes properly and returns to the AR scene.  This is only when the video plays out.

Unity 3.5
Vuforia 1.5.9
Video Type: .mp4

I've seen this issue come around after a couple Google searches, however I have not found a solution.  Anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Are you seeing the same with iPhoneUtils.PlayMovie?

I have the same problem. I can confirm that the video player freezes but Unity resumes so if you play an audio file directly afterwards it will play but the screen stays black.

I looked into the video package but I saw that playing it in full screen (as I need to do) uses the same Unity functions anyway?

Which iOS devices are you seeing this on?
