Persistent Extended Tracking for User Defined Target

August 19, 2015 - 12:37am #1

Hi,

I want to know how and where to set persistent extended tracking mode ON for User Defined Target - Vuforia Samples

Actually my scenario is, I will capture a image in real time using user defined target and a 3d model will be loaded up of the image next i will capture some other image and again the 3d model will be loaded for the first time, later when i just focussed on the captured image seperately the 3d model will be loaded automatically, What i want is , i will focus the 2 captured image joiningly at a time , and the model should be placed on both the image.

I read that this can be done through persistent extened tracking mode. Whether i am correct? If yes, i want to know how and where to make the persistent extended tracking mode ON in vuforia sample ios, if not, how to implement my scenario with vuforia ios

Thanks in advance

From our SDK Release Notes:

"Extended Tracking can only be used for a single UDT (user-defined-target) at a time."

Extended Tracking Guide

The persistExtendedTracking() method is found in the ObjectTracker class.
