Playing Transparent Video on target

I have 2 videos, 1 contains the mask and would like to render a transparent video using Vuforia native SDK for iOS, I've seen several people ask this question but have not seen a solution yet.

I don't want to use Chromakey (Green Screen)

Any help, pointers is greatly appreciated :)

Having the same problem.

 

I'd like to have a way to play an overlay video with transparency in iOS.

 

Do any Vuforia representative have an idea if this feature will be or not available any time soon?

 If you place both the alpha mask and color information in the same video file (over/under or side-by-side), you can write a custom shader that uses half the UVs of the video texture as albedo and the other half as alpha.

Working for me.

Hi HidingGlass,

Do you maybe have an example of the shader?

We're using a chromakey shader at the moment, but are trying to switch to an alpha mask.
