In our scenario, we will film a person holding a cube which is our target. We do this using an iPhone X. In principle, the camera on this device works pretty well with Vuforia. But as soon as a face is in sight, it seems to focus on the person instead to our target. This causes the target pattern to become blurry and thus detection is lost. Is it possible somehow to limit the focus of the camera to a certain distance, so target recognition works even if other, more prominent objects like people are visible in the background?
