Resolution of front camera on iPad Air 2

Hi there,

I am developing an iPad AR application based on Vuforia. I find the resolution of front camera image on iPad Air 2 is only 360x480 (60fps) in all 3 camera modes. However, all other iPads in my team can output 480x640 image. Could anyone help me on how to make Air 2 output a higher resolution image?

P.S. Is there any new progess on supporting higher resolution output on other new iPad models (iPad mini 4, etc.)? They can only capture 480x640 image in QCAR as far as i know.
