tutorial on making own AR app

is their an actual tutorial somewhere explaining the different files in the samples and ways to make your own app. I don't feel like their dev guide describes how to do it on your own. I have figured out some of the files what they do and I know you obviously use open GLSE for the rendering but past that i'm not sure.
