UserDefinedTargets questions.

January 23, 2013 - 12:21am #1

hi,
great to see that you've added a feature to create targets on the fly.

is it possible to tell QCAR to create a target from selected area of the screen, rather then looking for a target from the entire camera image.
i want to create a box outline as a guide for the user to align with when pointing at a target.
the guide outline will be the same aspect ratio as the target, so the user should be able to align with the target perfectly.
i then only want QCAR to look within that ROI and ignore everthing else in the camera image.
this way when the new target is created, it will perfectly align with the animations i want to play over the top of it.

any suggestions would be much appreciated.

L.

Hi Julapy,

This has come up before, and unfortunately the answer is that currently the whole camera is used.

For a more detailed explanation please see this thread:

thanks
