Hi,
I"ve been doing some scale test by positioning the image target vertically on a wall and a model in front of it. The result I'm getting is a very shaky or jittering object. I thought you could just rotate the image target in Unity to be vertical and then parent the model to it as usual. IS this not the way to do this? IS there a better way to do this?
How does the scaling of models parented to the image target in Unity work?
Thanks,
David
Vertical Image Target Placement
The orientation of the target shouldn't affect tracking significantly. What will cause jitter is if the model is offset significantly from the target center, vertical displacement results in more jitter than lateral offset.
