The old samples, will work only with the old SDK.

There wasn't any video playback feature per say, it was an implementation based on the SDK to demo the capabilities. We just removed the video playback implementation from the samples.

The video playback can be implemented with the newer SDK.

1. What happens with the old sdk (from 2014-2015)? Will the apps with the old sdk version work?

2. Do we have to upgrade to the latest sdk version?

3. If we have to upgrade to the latest sdk version, how can we have the video playback feature if it doesn't exist?

The old samples are not available for download anymore. Unfortunately the old samples will also not work with the latest SDK version.
