Vuforia APP , without arm64 support will be impossible to publish

November 8, 2014 - 3:32am #1

This morning we tried to publish on app store an app with vuforia sdk.

Either Validation and Submission gave me a terrbile warning due to missing 64 bit support  "Itunes store operation failed Missing 64-bit support. Starting February 1,2015, new IOS apps uploaded to the App Store must include 64-bit support....."

The app now has gone to review team but it will be soon unmaintenable and all the companies that decided to join qualcomm developers and use vuforia AR solution will pass a lot of troubles , it will be needed to port ALL the app on a different sdk (I feel sick only thinking about it) or reject contracts from customers and loose a big amount of money?

Please, really, work on 64 bit support for Vuforia sdk, we are ready to support paying something if it's needed, February is terribly near!!!

Same thoughts here. We have released MANGO Shop app with AR support. This app has more than 1 million downloads in iOS and it will be terrible to have to move to a different SDK. Please, please, work urgently in arm64 support!! It should be first priority now!

Kind regards

Hi,

there are already a few threads on the same subject, posted recently if you search the Forum. The Vuforia team is fully aware and is working on it.
