We have just upgraded to IOS 8.2 on our office iphone 6 and the Vuforia app we made (Vuforia 4.0, Unity 4.6.3f1) trys to open the camera but ends up with a black screen and no feed coming through. It does however work fine on our iphone 5 with IOS 8.2 (so unsure if its an OS issue?). The wierder thing is if you point it at the marker, it still renders and works as if the camera was working properley, but there is just no camera feed behind everything. Tested and behaves this way on iphone 5s and up. Does anybody have a solution?
Also to note: The app was designed with the older Vuforia version and was updated to 4.0 for the final build

Yes, the Automatic graphics settings may select METAL, which is currently not supported; so, the correct action is indeed to select OpenGL ES 2.0 in the Player Settings.
Note that the next version of Vuforia 4.x should be able to select the correct settings automatically.
