Vuforia SDK iOS 1.5.9 installer "DAMAGED" on Mountain Lion

September 25, 2012 - 6:05am #1

Guys, I'm trying to install the 1.5.9 qualcomm to get around this colour glitch on iOS6, but can't even open the installer for the message "vuforia-sdk-ios-1-5-9" is damaged and can't be opened".

I could run the installer on another machine with Lion, and then copy across the library, but this has been a really huge pain in the neck. As the installer seems to require Java to run, my Java version is: "1.6.0_35 from Apple Inc."

Hopefully this helps someone else who isn't fortunate enough to have another computer in the room with a different Mac OS running on it!!!

Or here's a suggestion - why don't you post just the libQCAR.a file in the same place as the zipped buggy java installer, and have the EULA on the download link. Save us all a bunch of wasted time..

Vuforia SDK iOS 1.5.9 installer "DAMAGED" on Mountain Lion - due

Hi Mete

Sorry you are having problems with this.

So far the only Mountain Lion problems that have been reported are due to GateKeeper preventing the running of the installer.

Could you please try going to Preferences>Security&Privacy>General

Then unlock the key and allow applications downloaded from "anywhere"

This should allow the installation to proceed.

Let me know how you get on.
