Vuforia SDK Version: Vuforia 6.5 bundled with Unity 2017.2 -
Description with steps to reproduce: I have a project built natively (Objective-C and Swift) in Xcode and have Unity embedded in a UIView within the project. Everything works fine with Unity, and Vuforia works and tracks targets correctly. However, when the device is rotated counterclockwise (i.e. the home button is on the right) or upside down, Vuforia flips the video feed.
If it is rotated back to portrait, the camera feed is still upside down. Rotating it the other way (i.e. the home button is on the left) can fix this until it is rotated counterclockwise again. Everything else in unity (e.g. screen-space UI elements, or things not based on Vuforia's tracking) works fine and is not upside down, it is ONLY Vuforia.
In addition, this only occurs on iOS 11.0-11.1. This issue does not occur on iOS 10.x. -
Development OS (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux): Mac OS X -
Mobile OS and Version: iOS 11.0-11.1 -
Mobile Device Manufacturer and Model name: Apple iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 8 Plus -
Do the Vuforia Sample Applications show the same behavior?:
Still an issue in Unity 2018.2.10 and Vuforia 7.5.20
Tested on iPad Pro iOS 12.0.1 portrait mode
