Camera isn't working on Samsung Galaxy S6

December 4, 2015 - 12:39pm #1

Hey there. I created a simple app with ARCamera and build the apk with Android 5.0 and 5.1 SDK. When I install the app on my Samsung Galaxy S6, the texture where the camera image should be rendered contains only fragments (see attached screenshot). The app works on other devices like OnePlus One and locally on my Mac in Unity 3D play mode. My S6 has Android 5.1.1. I tried different build settings but didn't get it working. Have you ever seen this or do you need more information? Thanks! Simon

Thank you very much, that helped a lot and is now working!
Voforia samples are working like a charm.

Have you made sure that you have disabled the Automatic Graphics API and that you have selected OpenGL ES 2.0 as the one and only graphics API ?

see complete overview of Unity Vuforia Player Settings here:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/unity-player-settings

Additionally:

could you tell if the Vuforia Samples do work correctly ?
