Camera lag when ARCore library in project

Vuforia SDK Version: 8.1.10 -

Description with steps to reproduce: I've just integrated Vuforia in our project. First it worked perfectly for scanning.

But today when I added the ARCore support according to https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/arcore-with-vuforia.html in order to add Ground Floor tracking, the camera feed started to lag extremely on our test device.

To Reproduce:

1. Have the ARCamera in your scene
2. Follow the instructions here to add the ARCore library to the project. https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/arcore-with-vuforia.html
3. Enable track device pose (It lags even without this being enabled)
4. Add ground plane example https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/ground-plane-guide.html
5. Launch the app
-> The camera feed only updates once every 2 seconds. UI Is fully response though and the app itself does not lag.

This can also be reproduced by building the core samples project and opening the ground floor example. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/vuforia-core-samples-99026

It is not directly related to the ground floor functionality though, because or cloud image recognition scene also started to lag as soon as we added the ARCore lib.

I tried following combinations:
Track device pose ON + ARCore library 1.4.0 = LAG
Track device pose ON + ARCore library 1.13.0 = LAG
Track device pose OFF + ARCore library 1.4.0 = LAG
Track device pose OFF + ARCore library 1.13.0 = LAG
Track device pose ON + No ARCore library = Works
Track device pose OFF + No ARCore library = Works -

Development OS (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux): Windows -

Mobile OS and Version: Android 10 -

Mobile Device Manufacturer and Model name: Nokia 8.1, TA-1119 -

Do the Vuforia Sample Applications show the same behavior?: Yes, it also lags. I built the sample application (in the asset store) which has ARCore 1.6.0.

Camera lag when ARCore library in project

I am also experiencing the same severe camera lag.

I have created an app that uses 10 target images to trigger local video and 3d animations.

The augmentations run as expected but the AR camera view lags considerably and sometimes freezes all together when trying to acquire the target

The app works fine on Android 9 and current ios

The app also works fine in a local android development build without including the Arcore Library

The issue occurs when the Arcore library is included which is necessary when you select Build App Bundle for Google play in player settings in order to submit to the Play Store

Any clues on how to fix this or report as a bug ?

App Built in Unity 2019.3.0f1 running Vuforia Engine v8.6.7

I tested it with an android 9 device (Nokia 8) and it worked. This might Android 10 related.
