CANVAS DISAPPEARS WHEN CANVAS RENDER MODE IS SET TO SCREEN SPACE - CAMERA

Vuforia SDK Version: 8.1.7 -

Description with steps to reproduce: When I set the canvas to render mode Screen Space - Camera the canvas disapppear when I press play. -

The width and height from 750 x 1334 both become to 0.



Development OS (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux): Mac OS X -

Mobile OS and Version: IOS 11 and Android -

Mobile Device Manufacturer and Model name: Samsung S7 and Iphone 6s -

Do the Vuforia Sample Applications show the same behavior?: Yes, the Sample ImageTargets that I test have the same bahavior.

Hello,

We previously submitted a bug request to Unity regarding this as it appears that this was not happening in Unity 2018.2.5f1.

Recently, we received notification that this has been resolved by Unity and tested with Unity 2020.2.0a7. The problem that was previously encountered (width is extremely large but height was normal which makes canvas invisible) is now gone. We can see that canvas size is now correct and the items in the canvas are rendered as they should be.

We've also confirmed that it's fixed in 2019.4, as well.

Same happen to me,

This issue come from before Vuforia 8 and still remains.

A workarund is just switch to Screen Space Overlay, but this is not useful on VR or Stereo.
