Vuforia SDK Version: Unity 5.5.1 + Vuforia 6.2.6 -
Description with steps to reproduce: I have a project that requires changing MaxSimultaneousImageTargets on the fly. Hard to explain, but there's no real way to do the project without this ability.
Setting through code doesn't seem to work. I thought I've been able to do this in the past, wondering if this is a bug introduce with the new configuration panel.
This has no effect:
VuforiaConfiguration.Instance.Vuforia.MaxSimultaneousImageTargets = 3;
I'm now looking at:
https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Training/Changes-to-the-Unity-ARCamera-with-Vuforia-6-2
and it says:
Changing any of these settings won’t have an immediate effect. The changed settings will be used for all upcoming scenes. Changing something immediately can be done with existing runtime API which has not changed.
If this is indeed my issue, then it kills my project. I'm going to keep this bug post, this really needs to change. Severely limits a lot of possibilities with the SDK.

Hello,
Have you tried the previous method for setting the hint to update the max number of trackables?
