Did you ever resolve this? It may sound strange but I would actually like to be able to replicate this bug for some testing. Can you say how you are building without visual studio?

Hello mikeywetzel,

Apologies for the delayed response to your Hololens issues.

When you are running your project, is it using the Unity playmode? The setup article here https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Training/Developing-Vuforia-Apps-for-HoloLens.html describes the steps to deploy at the bottom. The last couple steps involve building the project through Visual Studio and installing it on the Hololens. I saw you mentioned in another thread that when you build with Visual Studio, you are getting errors. What errors are you getting here? Could you provide me with more information on what is failing on this step and confirm that you are following all the correct setup instructions?

Thanks,

Is anyone else having this problem? If there are any Vuforia devs reading this, I'd love at least a suggestion on what to try.
